<p>If several meal sizes are available, always pick the smallest one. A hamburger and three beef patties have seventy grams of fat and about 1,000 calories while a children`s size hamburger lets you eat only about 300 calories. You are better off choosing the children’s size hamburger.</p>
<p>You may save about 300 calories if you give up the regular French fries or onion rings portion size, and take smaller portions. Or, instead of French fries, chose a baked potato or a salad with low-fat dressing. Other <a href="http://www.selimpars.com" target=_self>Health</a>y choices at fast food restaurants include fruits, yogurt, steamed rice, apple or orange slices, baked potato chips, or corn.</p>

Then you will find the market offering all sorts of products, from creams and applications to get rid of the fats to gadgets and machines to tone the arms, thighs or the abs.</p>
<p>However, there is one reality check you have to make. You cannot spot reduce. The attempt to do so is not going to work and it will not be for your good.</p>
<p>Why Can’t I Spot Reduce?</p>
<p>The market misinforms the public of the benefits that can be expected from their so-called revolutionary products when in fact there really are no revolutionary results to look forward to.</p>
<p>1. Healthy Diet Is Important</p>
<p>Diet is an important element to get rid of the undesirable body fats. The foods that you eat have calories and cholesterols that get stored in your body, probably amassing on those problem areas of yours. The diet is the main culprit for presence of fats. </p>

<p>Then you will also have to gain body mass. At this point, the only way you can only get rid of the fats and get some body mass is to have a healthy diet and do cardio exercises. </p>
<p>Only after surpassing the diet and cardio requirements can you focus on the abdominal exercises. This is the only proper time to really focus on working out for the six-packs. </p>
<p>3. There Are No Shortcuts</p>
<p>Miracle diets, pills and potions are mere shortcuts that will lead you to a dead end. If a healthy body is aimed, you have to work for it. You have to earn it. </p>
<p>We truly are living in a fast world with the advancement of technology, but your body still is very much natural. Thus you will still have to be grounded to what is naturally required by the body, healthy diet, regular exercise and considerable amount of time to develop that desirable state.</p>
<p>4. Health and Fitness Require Commitment</p>
<p>Your dedication to the health of your body is a lifelong commitment. Even if you achieved a good body now, it will not remain so forever if you abuse on your diet and lifestyle. It needs to be loved and taken care of, regularly. </p>
<p>That is why if you will depend on the spot reduction claims, it will really bring you nowhere. You can only hope, but you cannot expect. So if you aim for the healthy body; get an exercise program for your self and make some changes in your diet. Give your self a holistic development. Improve not only the body, but your outlook in life as well.</p>
<p>Do It the Proper Way</p>
<p>With all these points raised, the bottom line is to simply get healthy the proper way. The saying still holds true. No pain, no gain. So do not be a victim of the misleading information and empty promises thrown upon you. Simply know the proper options. Take the matter into your own hands and enjoy the benefits of a healthy body.</p>

I am needing eating ideas that would work well with me and my family, as well as activities I can do with my children?<br />
I try to walk about 5 miles a day. I really need to lose between 20-25 pounds to be at a <a href="http://www.selimpars.com" target=_self>Health</a>y weight.<br />
<br />Don&#8217;t think of it as dieting first off. Think of it as a lifestyle change because if you want to get the weight off and keep it off you have to be willing to change forever. I found that cutting my fat down to 35 grams a day and calories to about 1500-1600 has made a big difference. Once you hit your goal weight bump it back up to between 60-65 grams of fat and your calories between 2000-2500 depending on how active you are.  Also being very active has helped too. Activities you could do with the kids would be to go for walks to the park or go swimming since summer is almost here.  Get out and run with them. Also I joined the Y and go work out whenever I can. Luckily my family is very supportive and I have lots of people offering to babysit and I manage to go 5 days a week. In less that 3 months I have lost 30lbs and I feel great.  When you make meals try to have a main course, fruit and veggies with very little to no butter. IF I need butter I use a light margarine and only use like a teaspoon. Cut back on your salt also and drink TONS of water to help you stay full and hydrated. Avoid sugary drinks as much as possible. One cup of 100% fruit juice a day would be fine but try to avoid soda. I do drink a regular one every now and then but if I really need the caffeine I try to go diet. Good luck and I hope you reach your goals.</p>

<p>Is weight training exercise important when dieting?  Many experts will quickly tell you &#8220;yes&#8221; if you ask them this question.  Why?  It&#8217;s because weight training builds muscle and helps increase the body&#8217;s metabolic rate.  This means, that even while resting, a person who weight trains and who has built more muscle in their body will burn more calories than a person who doesn&#8217;t do any weight training.  <br />
Plus, weight training workouts typically burn more calories per minute of exercise than cardio workouts do.  </p>
<p>But, for women especially, the thought of doing weight training exercises with the intent of building muscle scares them because they think it will make them look less feminine and too masculine.  A woman shouldn&#8217;t worry though.  Unless she does a tremendous amount of muscle building exercises (hours a day) she will not develop a more masculine physique.  </p>
<p>Many experts are now recommending that women pick up heavier weights to help them build more muscle and a lean, toned body that is healthy.  </p>
<p>Curves for women is one national chain that promotes a circuit type workout for women that builds muscle without building bulk.  They recommend doing their 30 minute workout three times a week.  That doesn&#8217;t mean a person should only exercise three times a week.  Cardio exercise can be done every day of the week.  Curves isn&#8217;t the only choice for women who wish to do weight training exercises.  The YMCA is a good place for both men and women who want to get in shape.  </p>
<p>Muscle building exercises shouldn&#8217;t be done every day though because they  fatigues the muscles too much (except for body builders who spend hours a day in a gym following highly specialized workouts under the advice of highly trained trainers).  Muscles need a day to rest and recover from their workout before being worked out again. That&#8217;s why the recommendation for most people is three weight training sessions a week, doing cardio workouts the other days of the week, with one day a week off to rest.</p>
<p>Another benefit of weight training workouts while dieting that many people don&#8217;t think of is that they prevent the loss of lean body mass that typically occurs when people diet.  What typically happens when a person goes on a diet is they lose some of their muscle mass along with that unwanted fat.  Weight training exercise also strengthens bones and connective tissue.  </p>
<p>So, to help your weight loss efforts be successful, do three 30 minute weight training exercise sessions a week.  Not only will they help you lose weight, they will help you get stronger, more toned, and <a href="http://www.selimpars.com" target=_self>Health</a>ier.</p>

<p>Many have suggestions that this concept arises after world war I and II, due to the scarcity of <a href="http://www.selimpars.com" target=_self>Food</a>, it became fashionable to look slim and trim.Some good suggestions for weight reduction are do not eat between meals( For this you can take help of diet pills like phentermine etc.), espicially not all those chips munched before the  TV. It can badly affect your appetite and can ruin your skin too.Fried things, not vegetables like potatoes,pastries and cakes are definitely no no!!</p>
<p>Eat slowly and chew thoroughly. If you can&#8217;t resist yourself between meal snacking then you can satisfy your hunger with salads and fruit. I heard from one of my friend that he lost 4Kg in a month with the Israeli army diet. First 2 days only apples, the next two days only cheese and the </p>
<p>last 2 daysonly boiled chicken.No tea or cofee or any other liquids, except water or fresh juice.</p>
<p>But if your grand parents and parents are fat, how do you expect to looklike Naomi Campbell?Sometimes thyroid gland secretions alos cause extreme obesity or extreme thinness.But if you maintain your diet taking some appetite suppressants, you can reduce your weight. A normal person need  about 2000 calories per day and if you reduce to 1000 calories, you will lose weight. Calories are in butter, cheese, pastries, cakes,puddings,sweets,soups, sauces, cocoa chocolate, dried beans and dried fruit.Less calories are found in spinach, fresh fruit and salad. green leafy vegetables have less calories.</p>
<p>Some people say that exercising like cycling can make fat legs slim and trim. But according to me exercise makes matters worse. Avoid cycling which is a muscle-developing exercise. Even swimming and dancing aggravates matters. Exercise is under 2 headings: reducing and developing. People used to think if you drink plenty of water, you would become slim, but sometimes it does exactly the opposite. You retain water and that makes up fat.</p>
<p>Many people wants to firm up their stomach. For this you have to learn to brace it in and up, and you should not let it sag, like as if you are dropping it into a bag at the bottom of the tummy?The style of walking with the tummy-in behind-in by models is an exercise in itself. Do not walk with shoulders hunched.The tummy should be up and in , and the hips slightly forward. Also while walking, take a deep breath and pull your tummy muscle in. Exhale slowly, but do not let your tummy out. This will will remind you sagging all over the place!</p>
<p>Sometime I stand before the bathroom mirror while I am washing my face or anything else, and I can see the pull in tummy exercise playing on the abdominal-muscles. Learn to do it automatically.But it is tiring to lift up your tummy like that because you are not used to using those muscles, but when it becomes second nature, it becomes easier. There are several exercises for the tummy. Lie flat, breathing deeply in and out. Divide each breath into 3 little jerks, pulling your tummy in at each little jerk. Let your breath out without buging the tummy. Do this in the few groups of 6, with a good rest in between.Lie down flat, hook your feet under a piece of <a href="http://www.selimpars.com" target=_self>Furniture</a> and put your hands under the head. Then try to rise to a sitting position without lifting the feet from the floor.</p>
<p>Lie down flat keeping the knees straight and the toes pointing forwards. Move your feet so that the toes pointing up and, at the same time lift up the head to look. Then relax. Repeat the exercise 7 times.</p>
<p>Some exercise about the ever expanding hips. Crouch with arms hunched about knees, as if you are getting ready to run a marathon. Then sway your body to and fro, backwards and forwards with emphasis on the leg muscles. You can also lie face down on the floor,, with the chin resting on the back of your hands. Then slowly lift your head up from the ground, which is quite difficult because at the same time you are trying to lift up your legs, one at a time also! Do this very slowly.</p>
<p>Now come to the thunder thighs. Actually they look extremly nasty instead of tasty. So that is why I am giving you a real nasty dose of exercises. Lie on your back and  double your knees to your chest.Keep your feet together, then shoot both the legs about to right. Then slowly pendulum-wise, rotateyour legs to the left and then to original position again. Rotate your legs this way about 7 times to each side.Rest for a minute and then do some ait bicycling, with yourself still lying down. See, how a baby rotates its legs, follow the same procedure.A easy exercise for the thighs is stand straight, swing  and touch your toes toes, left-right left-right. Good fro your waist, good for your thighs.</p>

<p>If you are like everyone else who has hit rock bottom with their<br />
weight struggles, and have declared that this day will be the<br />
first day of your diet, then this article is for you. To often<br />
it seems that most dieters jump on the weight loss boat, yet<br />
fail to bring along a months pass. Instead, they are usually on<br />
the boat for a couple of days, or maybe a week at best.</p>
<p>We all have the motivation to lose weight and look good. Some of<br />
us even diet for medical reasons. Whatever reasons motivate you<br />
to lose weight, hold onto them. To many of us fall victim to<br />
that one cheat day, or that one hour where we fall off the boat<br />
and can&#8217;t get back on. My experiences with people just like that<br />
have shed some light on that missing element that makes people<br />
fall prey to losing their diet focus.</p>
<p>Consistency. Motivation is directly tied to dieting through<br />
consistency. If we feel that we are not seeing results based on<br />
our diet after a few days, or if we hit a plateau soon into the<br />
program, then we start succumbing to inconsistent eat habits. We<br />
eat whenever, usually whatever, and feel like crap afterwards.<br />
Sure, it absolutely feels good giving in and munching up what we<br />
have been starving our bodies throughout the diet, but usually<br />
what happens later is that we feel bad emotionally about what we<br />
just did and how hard we worked to avoid this behavior in the<br />
first place.</p>
<p>By getting it into our heads at the outset of the diet, that<br />
this process is a marathon and not a sprint, then we can<br />
reinforce our consistent dieting patterns and thus stay<br />
motivated to stay on the diet. We even get more motivated when<br />
we start seeing results. How do we see results?</p>
<p>Yep. By being consistent in our diet methods. </p>
<p>Whether it is drinking a gallon of water religiously throughout<br />
the day (which reminds me, I need to get up from this computer<br />
and do just that!) or eating 5 small meals through out the day<br />
at certain times, these events lend themselves to helping you<br />
stay consistent.</p>
<p>What you will notice after several months of doing this, is that<br />
your mental resolve to stay on the diet is incredible. Much<br />
stronger than what you started with. Another result you will see<br />
is that by altering your body&#8217;s eating habits and forcing your<br />
metabolism to process certain <a href="http://www.selimpars.com" target=_self>Food</a>s at certain times, the pounds<br />
come off at a faster rate. This, my friends, is the desired goal<br />
in ANY diet. Stay <a href="http://www.selimpars.com" target=_self>Health</a>y and stay consistent. I&#8217;m rooting right<br />
